Porch Rockers bring a road-worn, soulful blend of blues to stages across Arizona and beyond—rooted in tradition, driven by seasoned musicianship, and built around the simple idea that blues music should make people feel something.
The band was born during the pandemic, when guitarist Mike Blommer, harmonica player and vocalist Steven Michael Jonas, and bassist Larry Lee Lerma took to their driveways to play for neighbors looking for a little music and connection. What began as a way to lift spirits grew into Porch Rockers.
Today the group combines decades of touring, recording and live-performance experience. Blommer and Lerma are members of the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame, while drummer Justin Donaldson gives the full band its driving groove.
